24 Hours in Miami Beach

06:30AM: Rise early to catch sunrise and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the beach. It's the best time to beat the crowds.

07:30AM: Miamians love to work out...Hit the boardwalk for a jog before it gets too hot or if you prefer your cardio on two wheels try a spin class at Flywheel

09:30AM: You've worked up an appetite, so rehydrate with a cold-press juice and breakfast from jugofresh. For something more substantial try The Dutch at the W.

11:00AM: You've earned a break. It doesn't get much better than poolside at Soho Beach House. Unwind with a cocktail and Back to Blood by Tom Wolfe, a novel about Miami's explosive mix of money, race and politics.

02:00PM: For some retail therapy, peruse the Design District's eclectic  array of upmarket boutiques and art galleries. On the 2nd Saturday of every month is Art & Design Night where galleries and design houses open their doors for music and refreshments. Enjoy lunch at nearby Mandolin Aegan which serves simple but exquisite Mediterranean cuisine although the ambiance is best experienced in the evening. Culture buffs, head to the newly completed Pérez Art Museum or take the design preservation's league walking tour of the Art Deco district.

06:00PM: Grab a drink and watch the sunset at the Mondrian. It's got perfect views of Biscayne Bay and Downtown skyline.

09:00PM: Dinner at Cecconis. Stunning Italian food in a beautiful setting to woo the hardest of dates!

12:00 AM: Still have energy, hit Hyde Beach to shake a leg or for somewhere more bohemian, try Blackbird Ordinary or Electric Pickle.

More outdoorsy then plan a visit to the Everglades national park. It's only an hour away from downtown Miami. There's tons to do including bird watching, biking, camping, hiking, kayaking, fishing and more.
