• Designed by Taku Shinomoto, all S/N products are crafted by renowned company Nousaku, in the historical city of Takaoka, JapanThis area has a long tradition in metalworking, with manufacturing techniques dating back to the 1600s. Master craftsmen forge each S/N object by hand, using the Tokugawa-era metalworking style to craft the products to perfection

• The bookend is made using the “sand cast” technique, which leaves the surface slightly rough to the touch and with a wonderful patina
