Bellocq Tea Atelier, located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, has turned nearly a decade of sourcing and blending the finest loose leaf tea and botanicals into a devoted and articulate history of tea connoisseurship. Their carefully selected, single-origin offerings originate from the finest estates in around the world and are exclusively loose leaf tea, almost entirely organic, and sourced from high elevation gardens
- A cheeky and distinctive blend of organic white peony tea (pai mutan), dusky lavender with refreshing notes of bright grapefruit. Equally content to be enjoyed traditionally, White Nixon from Bellocq may also be enjoyed iced and makes an excellent base for poolside cocktails and summer hijinks with a twist
- To Brew:
- 1 tsp loose leaf tea per 8 oz / 250 ml of water
- (82°C / 180°F) Bring fresh, cold filtered or spring water to a boil. Remove from heat and then set aside for 3 minutes before using to steep
- Brew for 4-6 minutes using a metal tea infuser or a paper filter from Bellocq to create your own tea bags
- Good for 2 infusions
